Dragonheart Vermont is lucky. Our community doesn't wait to be asked — they organize hockey tournaments, host restaurant nights, sell patches, run raffles and find ways to give that we never could have planned ourselves. This page is where we celebrate those efforts and share what's coming up next.
Current Fundraising Events
Like baseball? Why not join us July 5 for a night of baseball and hope. Watch a Dragonheart Vermont breast cancer survivor throw out the first pitch — a powerful tribute to resilience. Tickets purchased through our unique link below are $9.50 (including fees), and $4 from each supports DHVT’s life changing programs. At the game, buy 50/50 raffle tickets for a chance to win some cash! Come for the game, stay for community, and leave knowing you’ve helped fill the stands with hope and generosity.

Solmate Socks
Solmate Socks donates a portion of proceeds from purchases made through Dragonheart Vermont's partner link — and during October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), that share increases to 50%. They've also created a special Alpenrose crew sock with a portion of every pair sold going to Dragonheart Vermont.
This is a long-term partnership and one of the easiest ways to support the club while getting something you'll actually use.

Past Events & Community Fundraisers
BCS Membership Campaign (October 2025)
In October 2025, Dragonheart Vermont launched a campaign to reduce the cost of membership for breast cancer survivors — from $300 to just $100 per year. For survivors who have had Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, membership is free.
The community responded. Thanks to sponsors Align Cycling, Northcountry Federal Credit Union, Solmate Socks, the employees of The Automaster, Waterworks, Last Resort Farm, May Day, Texas Roadhouse, the Town of Killington, and individual donors, the campaign surpassed its $12,000 goal.
8th Annual Save Your Shamrocks Hockey Tournament (March 2026)
An annual charity hockey tournament benefiting Dragonheart Vermont. Come watch, cheer, and support breast cancer survivors — on ice instead of on water. 2025 total fundraising: $25,000+.
American Flatbread Burlington Hearth Fundraiser (February 2026)
On February 24, 2026, American Flatbread Burlington Hearth & Brewery hosted a fundraiser for Dragonheart Vermont. For every order — dine-in, takeout, and delivery — American Flatbread donated $3.50 per large flatbread and $1.75 per small. Dragonheart Vermont members were on hand to talk about the club, the discounted BCS membership, and upcoming events.
Fraternal Order of Eagles #793 — Calcutta Fundraiser (March 2025)
A hearty and heartfelt thank you to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #793 for organizing a Calcutta fundraiser to benefit Dragonheart Vermont. They raised $6,100 for the club to use on equipment and supplies. We couldn't be more honored to have their support.
Town of Killington — Pink Patch Campaign (October 2025)
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Town of Killington ran a Pink Patch Campaign selling pink police and fire patches, along with a 50/50 raffle, trivia night and dessert social. Proceeds went directly to subsidize the cost of 2026 membership for Dragonheart Vermont's breast cancer survivors.
Ron Morris Memorial Golf Tournament
Each year, Dragonheart Vermont honors the memory of Ron Morris with a golf outing in his name. The Ron Morris Memorial Sunshine Fund helps support Dragonheart athletes pursuing top-level competition, including Team USA, and covers equipment needs. Most importantly, the fund ensures no athlete is left behind due to financial barriers.
