In 2023 we have two types of teams competing at the Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival:
Community Teams: This is our typical festival team…a group of friends, family or co-workers who paddle in a dragon boat twice a year…on Practice Weekend and at the Festival. They participate for the fun and fundraising!

Sport Teams: Do you participate in a dragon boat club that practices regularly each week? If you are paddling competitively for an organized dragon boat team outside of our community team level for the festival, then you will be in our sport division. Click here to register as a sport team or individual participant on a sport team.
General information about registering for a Community Team in the 2023 Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival:
- Teams are comprised of 16 paddlers and 1 drummer. We will provide the steersperson/coach.
- The entry fee is $50 per participant, $850 for a full team.
- Each participant commits to fundraising a minimum of $75 ($1275 per team) and will provide credit card details at the time of registration. As long as the team raises $1275, no individual will be charged.
- Each participant receives a 1-1/2 hour practice session, a Festival t-shirt, and a fundraising page.
COMMUNITY TEAM REGISTRATION

- Pay for the full team with a credit card at the time of registration.
- Register your team and send us a check for the payment.
- Have your racers pay individually when they sign up.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

ALL participants must register individually.

If your captain has paid your team’s entry fees, then they will have given you a promo code to reduce your entry fee due upon registration to $0. Otherwise, you will pay your $50 entry fee when you register. At that time you will be asked to commit to fundraising $75 and provide credit card details.
